Infomedia and Ford Canada extend relationship to 2009

Monday, 29 January 2007 – Sydney – Infomedia, today announced that the Company has renewed its software marketing agreement with Ford of Canada for the supply of the Microcat® electronic parts catalogue (EPC).

Infomedia first began supplying the Microcat EPC product to Ford dealers in Canada in 1999. This most recent extension takes the agreement through to May 2009, marking a 10 year relationship between Infomedia and Ford of Canada.

The Microcat EPC is a mission-critical tool for automotive dealers who need to be able to accurately identify the correct parts for any given vehicle. The product also assists dealers to sell additional parts and accessories, thereby increasing overall profit.

During the last 10 years Ford of Canada has introduced a number of new vehicles into their market and Infomedia has been able to support the servicing and repair of these new vehicles with monthly updates to the Microcat parts catalogue software.
