Thursday, 26 March 2009 – Sydney – Infomedia Ltd (“Infomedia” or “the Company”) today announced the appointment of Rob Whalley as Managing Director of the Company’s European subsidiary, IFM Europe Ltd. Mr Whalley comes to Infomedia with more than 30 years experience in the automotive industry.
Before joining Infomedia, Mr Whalley held the position of Managing Director Northern Europe for MSX International, a provider of outsourced automotive business solutions and services. Prior to that Mr Whalley held the position of Managing Director of the Automotive Division of information and credit reporting firm Experian International and was responsible for the provision of vehicle information to manufacturers, dealers, auctioneers, and finance and insurance companies.
In his role with Infomedia, Mr Whalley is responsible for managing the strategic direction of the Company’s European subsidiary, as well as developing new markets and increasing sales in Europe, Middle East and Africa.

I’d also like to thank Andrew Pattinson, who was the Managing Director of IFM Europe Ltd until his recent return to Australia, where he took up the position of Director of Global Solutions and Operations for the Company.”
Mr Whalley echoed Mr Martin’s comments about his appointment; “I’m excited about joining the global management team at Infomedia. Infomedia, headquartered in Australia, established IFM Europe Ltd in 2004 with the objective of replacing third party distributors and selling and supporting Infomedia products throughout Europe. This strategy has proved successful and continues to produce a steady growth in subscriptions for the Company’s parts and service solutions.
