Tuesday, 27 February 2007 – Sydney – Since 1990 Infomedia has been supplying its world class Microcat® electronic parts selling system to the world’s major passenger vehicle manufacturers. The Company today announced its first successful entry into another segment of the automotive industry with the signing of an agreement with Turkish bus manufacturer, Temsa.

Temsa began operations in the automotive sector in 1984 and is currently the largest independent bus manufacturer in Turkey. At present Temsa produces 7% of all buses manufactured in Western Europe1 and is aiming to increase this to 10% during 2007.

Infomedia CEO, Gary Martin, said, “The agreement with Temsa represents an exciting new venture for Infomedia. For some time now, we have held the view that Microcat could bring similar benefits to users in other sectors, just as it has for passenger vehicle parts professionals over many years.

It is also rewarding to work with a company like Temsa who have demonstrated year on year production growth and are seeking to increase their market share of the bus manufacturing segment within Europe. We look forward to supporting their growth aspirations by supplying a solution that assists them to improve accuracy and efficiency in the identification of replacement parts and also sell more parts, thereby increasing overall profits.”

Temsa buses are on the road in over 30 countries (predominantly within Europe) requiring after-sales service and maintenance to be carried out around the world. Accordingly, Infomedia will supply the Microcat system to Temsa dealers in all territories where Temsa buses are distributed and serviced. Infomedia will initially be supplying the Microcat system to approximately 120 Temsa dealers and expects to begin distribution in March 2007.

Microcat is currently used every day by over 50,000 subscribers, in over 160 countries in 28 languages.
