Friday, 1 June 2007 – Sydney – Global automotive industry IT service provider, Infomedia Ltd, announced today that it has successfully completed negotiations with Ford of Europe to renew its data license agreement for a further three years to 2010.

In announcing the agreement, Infomedia CEO Gary Martin, said, “The renewal of this agreement is a testament to the regard in which the Microcat solution is held throughout the Ford European dealerships and its importance as an independent and critical business tool for professional parts sales.

“While competition in the marketplace has intensified over the past few years, the Company is confident that we will continue to deliver products to Ford Europe dealers which assist them to increase their sales and productivity,” Mr Martin said.

Under the new agreement, the Company will offer Ford Europe dealers various products from the Infomedia suite including Microcat® LIVE and Microcat® MARKET, with the confidence of long term supply.

It is anticipated that the net effect of the contract renewal will reduce NPAT from FY2008 by up to $1.5 million. The Microcat system is currently being used by more than 8,500 Ford subscribers throughout Europe.
