About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a business that has its sights firmly set on growth in both the Australian and New Zealand Oil Industry, with potential to reach further markets given the opportunity. We are looking for people who are keen to utilise their existing automotive experience, as well as learn more about Lubricants and the research and publication of data, all within a team environment with exposure to development teams and their practices and processes. We are also always looking for ways to improve our processes and provide our customers best in class products.
What you’ll do:
You will research, create, and maintain technical lubricant data to a high level of accuracy via the population of a database containing the technical specifications of oils and fluids in all compartments used by a very large selection of manufacturers. To do this you will be acquiring and researching technical documents and websites to determine the correct oil specifications across a wide range of passenger and light commercial, marine, farm, and earth moving equipment. This data is then mapped to our oil company partners’ products using our own internal tools and processes.
This data is then utilised to drive Infomedia’ s software products which provide oil companies the ability to share their product lines with the retail public via their own websites.
What you’ll bring:
- A high level of mechanical knowledge with an aptitude to learn
- Good PC and keyboard skills
- Good automotive technical research skills
- Good time management and leadership qualities
