Mergers and Acquisitions Manager

This role provides a unique opportunity to join a small and highly energised M&A team where you will hit the ground running with a high level of responsibility, exposure to senior business leaders and make a significant contribution to Infomedia’s growth ambitions and deal flow.

What you’ll do:

  • Working closely with and reporting to the Head of M&A and with significant interaction with business leaders across the company.
  • Responsible for the analysis, assessment and execution of potential M&A transactions.
  • Working with other business teams and external advisors to enhance and refine the M&A strategy and pipeline.
  • Performing in-depth primary research, analysis and developing investment recommendations on potential M&A opportunities.
  • Compiling and presenting recommendations the strategic rationale and fit, detailed financial modelling and analysis, technical valuation assessment, deal structure and negotiation support, and assisting in the compilation of transaction documentation as appropriate.
  • Working with the Finance team and potentially with external advisors to perform financial due diligence as well as planning and coordination of other due diligence workstreams in relation to potential M&A targets.
  • Working closely with other cross-functional teams on the planning and successful integration of M&A targets

What you’ll bring:

  • At least 2 years of relevant M&A experience with a detailed understanding of M&A transaction processes and a demonstrated ability through prior transaction experience to execute deals. Relevant M&A experience could be either in Corporate Development, Investment Banking, Private Equity / Venture Capital, Transaction Services or Management Consulting.
  • Highly skilled in financial modelling and analysis and proficient with all corporate finance valuation techniques.
  • Ability to demonstrate intellectual curiosity, initiative, a positive “can-do” mindset, the ability to identify risks and solve problem, and creative & analytical thinking.
  • The ability to work efficiently and collaboratively with limited supervision.
  • Strong written and oral communication and organisational skills to management multiple projects and the tight timelines often inherent in M&A transactions.
  • Ability to build and maintain internal and external networks, relationships and contacts to support M&A transactions.
  • Available for domestic and international travel.
  • Strong skills with Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • CFA / MBA / CA preferred but not essential.
