As our business is evolving from a pure SAAS software solution eco-system into a Data as a Service model, the role of data architecture for our business is gaining further importance. The Principal Data Architect will oversee the data strategy, the seamless integration of over solution groups and the integration into 3rd party partners into our eco-system. With this important role we want to ensure a bi-direction dataflow and a scalable design of our Enterprise Data Platform. The Principal Architect will create, implement, and drive in close collaboration with the solution groups visionary data management for the company’s and data products. In a leadership role the individual will direct and consult with technology and business leaders to provide a holistic approach to data products, analytics, and their architectures.

Key Responsibilities:-
• Collaborate with CTO, Engineering, Product, and Business Development teams to drive and deliver data product opportunities.
• Lead the development and implementation of the Infomedia’s data products, data governance, and data strategy.
• Direct and execute against key capabilities in the areas of integration and data product initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations.
• Provide hands-on technical thought leadership and strategy guidance to the CTO and Engineering teams.
Technical Responsibilities:-
• Design and oversee the implementation of scalable data architectures using technologies such as MongoDB, Apache Spark and AWS data services.
• Develop and optimize data pipelines, algorithms, and automated workflows.
• Lead the evaluation and selection of data-related technologies and tools.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to data engineering teams in Python and other relevant languages.
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization of complex queries and databases.
Architectural Disciplines:-
• Proficiency in Domain-Driven Design (DDD) to model complex business logic.
• Expertise in designing and implementing RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and other API paradigms.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and its integration with data platforms.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture and real-time data processing.
Desirable Experience:-
• Certified platform architecture credentials are highly desirable.
• Extensive experience in enterprise, solution, and integration architecture.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in data architecture, with a focus on software product companies.
• Leadership experience with tech teams.
