Expectations of the role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a business that has its sights firmly set on growth, leading and overseeing the capabilities across all aspects of testing (including test strategy development, planning, execution, environment management, UAT and Defect Management, implementation and post-implementation support) Implementing improvements in test automation development processes and tools with the aim of reducing development effort and cycles of test execution and increasing delivery speed. Providing expert advice to resolve issues, mitigating, and controlling risks and escalating concerns surrounding key deliverables in a proactive manner, presenting detailed updates to steering committees and key stakeholders to highlight risks, milestones and performance outcomes.

What you’ll do:

  • Identify, report and prioritise defects, working with the production teams and coordinate with Developers to locate and assist in identifying and resolving software defects
  • Software and Documentation testing of Infomedia’s products
  • Follow detailed test scripts and procedures and Quality Assurance practices.
  • Create detailed testing documentation, particularly test scripts
  • Follow reported problems encountered through to resolution
  • Active promotion of continuous improvement in the quality of products being available for delivery to existing and potential clients

What you’ll bring:

  • Quality Assurance experience in working with and testing integrated software products
  • Experience in logging and tracking defects from open to close, using an issue tracking tools such as JIRA
  • Agile Testing Methodologies (Unit, Integration, Systems, Acceptance, Usability) and documentation (test plans, test scenarios, test cases)
  • High level analytical and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to investigate complex issues and make informed decisions.
  • ISTQB (preferable)
  • Strong computer skills using Microsoft office
  • Excellent attention to detail & analytical skills
