I have been in the parts side of automotive since leaving school and I’ve been at Stoneacre for 20 years, who have 60 sites across England and Wales. I love the business and banter – the reactions, conversations and of course, our customer relationships.

Until now, our operations haven’t needed a dedicated Parts CRM system. However, just over a year ago, we opened a parts distribution centre in Doncaster with a fleet of 40 vans, 6 BDMs, and a full call centre offering.

Our DMS is great, but thanks to my knowledge backed up by a former Ford PartsPlus employee and their recommendation of Microcat CRM (which is well used and appreciated by Ford PartsPlus), we can now look forward to maximising opportunities for our distribution centre.

Our ultimate goal as a profit-hungry business is to increase parts sales and profitability, but to do this, we need to understand our customers better.
